Issues Facing Older Women

Male seniors are nearly twice as likely as female seniors to be married, with 75 percent of senior men living with their spouse, compared with just 41 percent of senior women. The reason: Women still tend to live longer than men, resulting in more widows than widowers in this country. The best way for single senior women and unattached senior men to meet is for both to get out and socialize.
